Stockings, plaster, cement, dye, cotton rope, eye hooks.
on flux exhibited in a group show "years ago, still show" at the Emily Harvey Foundation in New York City. The suspended casts were constructed in and for the space to pay homage to the space's history as a studio and exhibition space for artists in the '60s through '90s.
Each hanging cast is rigged as a counterweight to each other from the ceiling threaded through remnant eye hooks from shows past. Visitors could pull on a rope, adjusting the height of a cast and altering the formation of others.
